My first try for a recycled paper bottle

Image
The scale is off for a wine bottle,  but for a beer or single serving of any libation, it might work. It was easy to make with a two paper tube of different heights and widths and then covered with tissue to smooth it out and refine the shape.

First try at shoes

Madison likes her new outfit. The shoes are made out of cardboard,  foil ,paper and yarn. They came out bigger then I planned , but if I try I again ,I have a better idea of how to work on such a small shoe.

I think her face came out pretty good.

Had to save her right eye and both of her eyebrows. Her lips are my favorite. I love the effect of soft pastels. Even an amateur like myself can get a nice result😊

Doll Dilemma

Image
Both of these beauties fell into the hand of the "glitter monster" before I rescued them from the thrift. Now my problem is how to get it off their eyes without ruining the eye paint. Especially Madison. Her face is perfect except for the glitter addition.  I was thinking of masking tape ,but once again ,I don't want to peel off her eyes.  SO...ANY SUGGESTIONS? Any and all appreciated. Thx 😃

this is my first time finding these, so cute. I'm going on vacation for a few days and when I get back, get some money, and time to shop, I'm going to treat myself to a couple of the little girls. Moxie has such adorable  faces *,*
