NYW Creations

I added a shelf on top, paint and decoupage. And a few of my handmade minis. Serenity loves adding to her collection. And a couple of little things from Hobby Lobby.  

I love these wooden pieces. If I have a coupon, especially 60% off at a JOANN store, it makes my day😁 Everybody grabbed these from Target. So versatile. Little wooden chests+ decoupage= happy me😍  This is my biggest project that needs to be scaled down and totally redone. This "kitchen" is just a catch all.  Babette doesn't seem to mind. but i do.  

The "Teacher's Lounge" and Joe the bartender have been relocated. It wasn't really a box, just poorly constructed  walls in a shelf. It's so funny to me, how, with the right lighting and angle, even weird things can look ok...that's life😁 Most of the background has been recycled. I'll miss my bottle cut outs, but now I have some nice hot glue bottles that I made, if the bar lives again😎 This was once a lab and music room, now just storage. It has been broken down and recycled. The back wall was  an add on, so it's the only part of the box I kept. All of the furniture, etc has been stored away.  I might try a cosmetic store again, it just didn't work out last time. but making the make up was fun🎨💄 I emptied the sewing/craft room so I could move it. I really need to paint that bookshelf. But it stayed pretty much the same...keeper 😏 This is a 10 year old box room/display. It's a keeper👍🏾  

This is the "nursery" room. Chad lives here because I sold the rest of the HIGHSCHOOL MUSICAL dolls I had; his neck was broken, but the repair seems to be holding. So I keep him where I can see him😁 Pretty much it's storage for the babies... ...and their stuff. I was going to dismantle it, but I realized that I still needed it for storage. So I glued the sink/changing table to the wall. Years of hot glue and cardboard are nobody's friend. And of course the crib full of babies.  The babysitter's club-Skipper and friends and the Stacie science club share this space. Most of these dolls are so cute I don't want this in a giant plastic tub where I can't see them. He's still dressed for prom. Most of my "petites" end up here, especially if they have a bent arm and can hold a baby👶🏾 I really want to get brave enough to try the Creatable World body swap, then everybody can play with the babies...one day😁 keep me away from cardboard and craft sti...

Handmade chairs that were so wonky and never finished them, but just couldn't bring myself to throw them away... Purge or recycle👍🏽 These came out "useable"☺ Wonky Desks🤦🏾‍♀️ Store bought chairs-thrift and dollar store these were great find at Dollar Tree I obviously never met a shoebox I didn't love. Storage for random bedding. Not the best photo of her "multi purpose" covered box,  her's is my favorite😎 But this is excessive. Most of these haven't been in a photo or even a diorama in a very long time. Purge or recycle..
