The sister quilt

I drew the profiles several years ago for a wall hanging, so i just enlarged them by about 150%.

The leaves are a beautiful fabric scrap that my sister brought back from her  travels in Ghana; so they were a nice touch.  My mom contributed from her stash and I had some suitable prints as well. So I purchased only 1 yard of addition fabric, just to add some color to the back.

these are not the best pictures. and i still needed to press it and get the label on it (my mom commissioned it for her baby sister). but they both seemed to love it, so i'm happy w/that.
