They are super cute😍

Image
So much plastic packaging and those anchors in their poor little heads. Size comparison Stacie, Skipper and a petite Barbie Fashionista. And I'm guessing these three very different doggies are suppose to be different breeds or ages. I have a feeling they were extras and somebody said "just throw them in there, kids will love it"  Regular articulation, but at least Jayla has a bent arm. I'm so happy to have a Barbie Boy😍  He's so cute. Team Stacie So many activities, but they really need their own fashion packs. Size comparison with Creatable World. I think the t-shirts will work for Stacie, but everything else is too big. But Skipper knows that's just more for her🤣

Amazon knows what I like...Dang it🤣😂😁🤨

Well I held out until the 19th of March...I was TRYING not to spend any doll money in March. Then I saw theses cuties. I don't even care if they are Skipper size or Stacie size. Had to do it.😏 They were out of stock and have said "MAY 8th" for the past 10 days. I thought I was safe...and maybe I did have self-control. No actual coins from my pocket until they shipped was my #dolllogic. Then this happened.... ...that's what I get for thinking....they shipped today😂😜 I can't be trusted, at all.

Some of my wooden pieces and starting my kitchen redesign🥧🥤💐🔨

Image
I love these wooden pieces. If I have a coupon, especially 60% off at a JOANN store, it makes my day😁 Everybody grabbed these from Target. So versatile. Little wooden chests+ decoupage= happy me😍  This is my biggest project that needs to be scaled down and totally redone. This "kitchen" is just a catch all.  Babette doesn't seem to mind. but i do.

More sewing✂ #kigurumi

I used fleece, since this pattern was really easy to hand sew. And the petite size was a good fit.  Ezri is comfy in new jamjams😍 I made the "tummy" patch into pockets, and I didn't put the face on the hood.

Spending my time not my money😁 Sewing and head swapping✂

Another February purchase. I wanted it for the KEN clothes patterns. One good thing is that the book does have multi-sizes for BARBIE clothes: classic, petite and curvy, so that's interesting. Even though I draft my own patterns most of the time, I really wanted to see if these were any better...well...for $15...it's a start 🤷🏾‍♀️ His shirt is from the book, her skirt is not. I just wanted something to match his bow tie👔 This is the "tuxedo" pattern. I used felt to save time and it looks like an old school smoking jacket. But it does fit nicely and I didn't need to alter it at all. This was a bad head swap. That "tall" body type is my least favorite, but the complexion is so off that I had to switch them back. yikes🥺 Her face is so pretty. As always that lip color has to go. And I still might cut her hair.  She reminded me of the character Gaia from the show "The 100" that was on a couple of years ago.  So here is Gaia💗 Outfit by me. Backg

Well this happened-Barbie Looks #3

So, she was my last purchase in February. And wasn't do to arrive until the end of March. But you know how AMAZON is, she came in 2 days. Even though she was back down to her original $19.99 sale price, and she's just lovely...I didn't need to add anything else to the chaos. So for March, it's my goal to not purchase anything doll or toy related. And to complete my organizing, downsizing, purge.  Until then, Please enjoy pics of the newest petite beauty, her name is Ezri.  As soon As I saw her face, that was her name. And yes, Ezri Dax from DS9 was my inspiration😁🚀 her eyes are pixelated , there were a couple of spots on her face and her hair was very "crunchy". But so pretty. Mattel made some lovely sculpts for this series. washed her hair and repaired the spots on her face👌🏾 she's even small for a petite.

My recycle bin is getting full. Part 4-box rooms

Image
The "Teacher's Lounge" and Joe the bartender have been relocated. It wasn't really a box, just poorly constructed  walls in a shelf. It's so funny to me, how, with the right lighting and angle, even weird things can look ok...that's life😁 Most of the background has been recycled. I'll miss my bottle cut outs, but now I have some nice hot glue bottles that I made, if the bar lives again😎 This was once a lab and music room, now just storage. It has been broken down and recycled. The back wall was  an add on, so it's the only part of the box I kept. All of the furniture, etc has been stored away.  I might try a cosmetic store again, it just didn't work out last time. but making the make up was fun🎨💄 I emptied the sewing/craft room so I could move it. I really need to paint that bookshelf. But it stayed pretty much the same...keeper 😏 This is a 10 year old box room/display. It's a keeper👍🏾
