Who Doesn't Love A Pretty Little Doll?

 Every since I saw these dolls, I fell in love w/them. 18 inch "Madam Alexander" girl dolls are very similar to the "American Girl" doll that has been popular since my daughter was little, and she's 25 now:-) But I  think these are prettier...just my opinion. I found the "african american" and the "asian american" doll clearanced at walmart a couple of months ago and have been trying to get these beds finished since then, but they are taking longer than I thought.
First, I reinforce the box it came in w/foam core board , muslin and decoupage glue. During this process I make a head and foot board.
Then it's painted. W/ the next one I'm going to let it dry overnight and give it a light sanding for a smoother surface.

Last, the bedding is glued on, so that a 3 and a 4 year old can't destroy it....not to quickly anyway:-) After all it's only a box:-)
This one's name is still Baby. And she's wearing her new kitty nighty I made.
