Welcome Sabrina :-) Thanks for stopping by. Hey everyone, I'm currently visitng w/family in S.Carolina; so if I'm slow to acknowlegde any comments etc, please forgive me. Boy did I need a "va-ca' cause I feel just a little "cra-cra" *o*

Madi #6 dressed and styled

Image
As with my other "Madisons" I might paint her eyes, but for now I'm very happy w/her-especially her hair. The hair wasn't dipped, just wet set w/my favorite olive oil "pudding" is what it's called.  The twists are perfect on her . Now she just needs some awesome earrings-Don't we all? *,*

Madi #6

She was in a bag w/this LIV doll  for $3. I already have a blond LIV that purchased from Wal-mart  awhile back.  I might just paint her head red. I don't have a red haired one. This is her first condition and comb out. Her hair was a mess, almost dread locked; which would be a  beautiful style on her, if it wasn't a such a matted mess. She lost so much hair I thought she was going to end up bald. As you can see the surviving hair is in pretty good shape.

Victorian bride*.* Also thank you to My Froggy Stuff  for the book and umbrella making tutorials on YOUTUBE. Always so easy to follow you instructions. The "parasol " was too heavy for her to hold since I used what I had on hand and the pipe cleaner handle+ the lace over the paper template was just too much :-) But now I have some coffee stirrers and next time I'll paint the paper, or else dig out a sheet of scrap booking paper just like the tutorial used. Practice either makes perfect or you just get alot of practice*.* Have a Great Day

Another Jasmine. And my favorite Madison, someone cut her hair, but I wanted to go short  on her one day anyway:-) Now this dude was just weird. A ball joint at the waist, held together with a black rubber band no less, hands ready for action and that "look" on his face. How could I leave him there. And man was he dirty...his clothes etc. His only marking is MATTEL 1977 on his head and made in Taiwan on his body. According to my Google search results @ Kattisdoll.net  he is indeed Sport and Shave ken  who came w/ a shaver and a tennis racket. Well after reading "It's Muff's" recent post on markers and pens I think this old guy is getting a much needed make over and SOON :-) This little lady was fully dressed for a little over a dollar. I thought she was a Fashionista , but her arms are not articulated, so now I'm not sure. But her I got her for her clothes and these darling shoes. Doll shoes ain't cheap *o* And finally...t...

"I met a guy last night..." "he said he would call..." "I'm going crazy waiting...what if he doesn't call?...what if...." "get a grip girl you are so much better than that. ...o.k. I'm good. I think I'll call my mom and see if she wants to do lunch."

Thrift store finds...all three for $5

I don't usually get into "The Disney Princesses" but for some reason Arial and Jasmine just had to come home w/me:-) I like the paleness of Jasmines make up, but the white eye-shadow on Ariel is coming off  first chance I get. There was also a Cinderella in the bag w/them but she was in terrible shape, so she was "redonated" before I left the store. They have small bodies 10in. "Mattel 2006" ,just like the Tiana I have. It seems that different years they came in a more standard "Barbie" size. Which is fine w/me; after they are washed, restyled and dressed they go to my grand daughters' collection, and I like that they more like girls than WOMEN...ya know what I mean*.* Madison of the MYSCENE line of dolls is one of my favorites to find. I love her face, except for those blue eyes, which are easy enough to change. After I got her home I noticed she a has a small chip/crack in her neck right below her head. I'm assuming it happen...

Saw this So In Style doll at Big Lots in Mesa,AZ. She was the only one, but I had just picked up 4 dolls for $6 next store at the Goodwill store; so I had to leave her. Gotta learn to budget better there is some good stuff out there:-) Just wanted to give a ray of hope that the S.I.S is still out there and pretty as ever.

Look who's wearing LIV's wig...

Where are we going?

Image
"you look so cute in that outfit" "so do you, I love those white jeans, want me to tie those bows for you?" "sure, but do you know where we're going today?" "I heard the grandmother say we were gifts for the granddaughter" "oh no! how old is she? will she take good care of us? I hope she won't cut my hair..." "don't worry, from what I overheard it's the grandson you have to worry about" TO BE CONTINUED...*.*
